CDFW regions for California rabbit hunting locations.
CDFW Regions 1 – 6

There are a lot of California rabbit hunting locations on public land. All “Type C” wildlife areas and over 40 ecological reserves allow rabbit hunting. However, there are restrictions noted in 14 CCR Sections 630(d) and 551(e)(3).

For your convenience, we’ve organized public hunting areas by regions of the California Department of Fish and Wildlife (CDFW). Follow the links to local rules for each area.
